It’s the thought that counts. Until you have to deliver it to a crowd

You know what you want to express, but how do you find the most effective words? How do you make your presentation stand out, so that people will not only pay attention, but take home a lasting impression?

Not Everyone Is a Wordsmith. But Elegant Jewish Writing can put one at your service.

We will pair you with the best recognized, professional communicators – people  with decades of experience writing and speaking to all sorts of audiences.

To honor your simchah and your guests, you spent much time and effort on the details. You saw the menu, the décor, the music, the location as reflections of yourself and your appreciation of the occasion. When all else was first class, should the derashos, the greetings, and the remarks be the only exceptions?

We can put together presentations that sparkle with interest – whether we put them together from the ground up, or fine-tune what you’ve come up with on your own. Competitively priced and affordable, we will put the most recognized names in the Torah world at your service.

Elegant Jewish Writing provides services for a wide array of occasions including:

Sheva Brachos

We will come up with the perfect vort, support it with stories and anecdotes, and tie it into the family. You won’t have to scramble for words, or make excuses for not being a public speaker. Keep the pressure off the choson – let us write his remarks as well!

Death and Bereavement, R"L

Whether a hesped or remarks at an unveiling, we can help you create the vehicle to convey the sentiment and thoughts you wish to convey.

They chose you to be an honoree for good reason. Why should the only mediocre part of the ceremony be your remarks? We will work with you to make your presentation as much of a presence as you are!

Journal Ads

Can’t afford to spend an evening searching for something meaningful to put in the ad, but can’t get by with empty boilerplate? Have us come up with copy that will catch the eye and the heart of the honoree.

Bar Mitzvah

We will write the pshetl for your bar-mitzvah bochur from scratch, and use a Torah topic that will pique the audience’s interest from the opening paragraph rather than the tired and predictable ones. Or, if you like, we will take the sugya your yingel learned with you or his rebbi and add the polish and the flourish to make it shine. Rather than just getting by, your son will learn the difference between good speaking and what passes for acceptable.

Fee Schedule

We work on an hourly scale. Before we begin work, we will assess how long the project will take, and provide you with an estimate, which will represent the maximum you will be charged, unless you call for a major rewrite. We will monitor time spent, so that if we are able to finish in less time, you will pay only for time actually devoted to your project. After the free phone consultation, we will begin upon receipt of a $150 deposit, which is also the minimum fee charged.
